This week has been a very busy one. Friday was a no-school day, which means that students had to work extra-hard to get all their work done – however, all of us are glad for the little break! This week’s assignments included a packet on language roots, some logic puzzles, and a finger-painting project that allowed students to get messy and creative without the roadblocks of perfectionism. The fish that our aquarium runners put in the class aquarium last week are still alive (for the most part) and doing well, and we hope to get some new ones added next Monday. The theatre department has also released a tentative cast list of the AS play, which hopefully means that our Matrix assignments for at least 2nd and 3rd quarters will come out any day now.
Additionally, next week on Wednesday is Halloween. The AS celebration, which is currently being planned by party planners from all three classes, takes place on Wednesday afternoon after the annual Halloween parade. Max is also planning a pumpkin-carving art assignment for the week. We’re all looking forward to a great celebration!
