Friday Blog

We had a great week in Max’s class. For our math/science challenge we had to fond out how much of the classroom was covered by stuff. It is really hard but fun. In preparation of our trip Alaska we are painting landscapes reflecting the natural beauties there. These have all turned out really nicely. I am looking forward to going to Alaska. It should be really interesting and fun! This week for our specimen we are drawing an hawk’s wing. My classmates and I are enjoying the challenge, and improving our drawing skills. Today Abbie made us Greek food for her unit, which is Greece. She explained about the culture and then we ate chicken kabobs and Greek salad. Also this week we are researching our names. Some people were pretty surprised at what their names mean.
