ugh, conferences

Ahh, the wonder of a two day week. It really is fantastic although, I am aware that my conference is on Wednesday. For some reason, every time something positive is happening, in this case a two day week, something equally devastating must happen as well, in this case conferences. I guess conferences aren’t all bad though. They’re hyped up to be this awful event, on par with going to the dentist, or getting a flu shot, or getting attacked by a bear, but they really are only twenty minutes or so. My last meeting wasn’t that bad. We talked, and Max threw in a couple of mediocre puns, and my parents were satisfied with my work over the last trimester. They especially enjoyed one of the watercolors I made that was based off of an Alaskan Landscape. We had to spend a lot of time on that and I am really glad it showed. I sure am excited for break though. My cousin is coming from New York, so we will go skiing a lot, and he likes basketball to, so we can play basketball a lot as well. But that must wait, because for now, I must focus on these last two days of school before spring break, and… conferences *dun dun duuuun*.
