Parent Night went well, and we have been bragged upon by our parents, and teachers, which is a good thing. Our art work, unit, writing, field journals entries, and specimens were complemented, and admired, like they should be with such a great class.
Another week, gone, and past. Our tenth week to boot. As we’ve said before, next week we are celebrating National Mole Day, so this week we created moles, or mole puns to be exact. They are coming along wonderfully. Some completed ones are animole, bubble gum, little molemaid, molearky, and guac-a-mole. Our math/science assignments have gone well, and as it turns out, a mole of water molecules is less than a bottle of water (50 milliliters). Also, we were supposed to find out how big a mole was (number this time, not 4 inches). An example is: If you stacked a mole of paper it could go from the sun to Pluto a million times. That’s a lot of paper.
Our peace papers are very biased; we all agreed that peace and the end of war is MANDITORY!!!!!!! We also did our peer editing, which went well (we have all learned from seeing so many edits on our papers for however many years).
All-in-all, our tenth week of school has gone quite splendidly, and we look forward to see what Max and Katie have planned for us next week….And how chaotic our Mole Day party will turn out to be.
