This has been quite a week. It’s the first week after Thanksgiving and we have a lot of work. This week’s specimen has been very challenging for lots of people including myself. The specimen is a piece of coral with tons of branches. Our art assignment this week was to draw half a face of a famous person. The people varied from Madonna to Bill Gates and people have been turning out very good pictures. Our short stories were our main focus this week in writer’s workshop. We were told to make 5 new leads for our short stories and then we had to choose one to re write the first page of the story. Our other writer’s workshop assignment was to write our short story from another characters perspective.
Over all this seems to have been a very productive week. We got a lot of work this week and it seemed like even more coming out of back to back 4-day weekends. The people in the classroom handled the workload very well. This has definitely been a tough week coming out of a break and the class handled it very well.
