Famous Last Words (and a bunch of other stuff)

Lately Max’s Class has been working on a lot of stuff. Recently we were given an assignment on famous people throughout history and the power of their words, based on our class unit. We were each assigned a person to research and eventually portray. We have been writing papers on them, as well as taking note cards and collecting resources. Next week, we will give a presentation of a speech by our assigned person, in character.

In addition to that project, we have embarked on the task of creating a short fiction story, using writing techniques we have learned from Max and Katie during Writer’s Workshop. So far, we have done a lot of revising and editing, even re-writing. Eventually, we hope to get a really cool final product.
