Friday Post

This week has been a bit of a shock, after a long and relaxing winter break, but we are (kind of) getting back into the swing of things. Having not been at school on Monday, we had a short work week. The specimen has been a notable challenge this week, but not because of what we have to draw. We have to draw a shamrock plant, without using an eraser. This has caused much tearing out of hair, but people have (mostly) managed to get it as perfect as possible in the time allowed.
The IS Play opened last night. Congrats to all the people who took part in it! You can tell who was a techie last night by a simple test – if they are very sleepy then they probably were. Max says that it was very good, so make sure that you see it. Other things that we are doing include more difficult word puzzles and learning about the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge in preparation for our trip to Alaska. In fact, It’s almost time for the class to go to Mel’s thing, so that’s about all.
