This week has been a great kick off to our unit studies for EXPO, in February. This week we started researching the arctic national wildlife refuge and have been working really hard on that. We have split up into four groups for a debate at the end of the month, the debate is on the oil drilling in ANWR. Two of the groups are pro oil drilling and the other two are against it. This week we also had a debate lesson with Katie and learned important things to know when you are debating against someone, which was really helpful. This week we are not doing all of our normal projects but replacing them with unit and debate work. Time is flying bye and we are getting closer and closer to expo!
