This week kids are really getting back on the school year schedule. We don’t have very many small projects such as math and science or art, because we are focusing mainly on two things; our debate scheduled for next Friday and our Expo work. A lot of us are already stressed out about Expo, which happens to be in a little less than a month.
The upcoming debate is also very exciting. We are debating whether people should be allowed to drill for oil in ANWR (arctic national wildlife refuge). We have four teams; environmentalists, against drilling, the drillers, pro drilling, the Gwich’in tribe, against drilling, and the Inupiat tribe, pro drilling.
Another exciting thing that happened; David won the geography bee! Yay David!
