Guess what? Next week is opening night for The Matchmaker, and you know what that means. The cast and crew are hard at work getting ready for the first show, on Thursday night. Not only are students busy with the play, but new units are starting, which is awesome. The new topics people have chosen range from Dinosaurs to Whales to Desserts around the World. We’re all looking forward to working on our individual studies. This week we are finishing our Alaskan Landscape watercolors. I’m serious when I say our watercolors should be put in an art gallery, because they’re all amazing.
It’s getting close to time for conferences (and spring break!) so we’ve all been starting portfolios. The end of the year is coming up so fast, it’s unbelievable. Next week is play week, then conferences and spring break, off to Alaska, then it’s the end of the year. Dang!
